OFT Rom Update

Hi guys im looking at my stage 1 F30K.bin files on Romraider and it states that its a 2013 Subaru BRZ, and i also opens the automatic stage 1 93 octane F40D.bin and it states that its a 2016 Subaru BRZ. When i compare both images, there are 77 missing tables & 14 changed tables. Question is, is it okay if i copied the changed tables from the latest .Bin files which is the F40D.bin to my F30K.bin? In order to update it to the latest rom

Quick answer = NO

The last letter of a rom code indicated auto/manual and also the country version

see the tactrix thread link below

auto/manuals are definitly not compatable and usually roms from dufferent countries or regions may not be compatable. ie K to D

also some roms from later or earlier car may not function correctly.

The definitions are often not directly compatable between newer and older roms.

Basicly stick with what you have

any rom later than A01K has the transient retard fixes and idle fixes im pretty sure F30K would be later than 2013 what year is on car complience plate
