Windows issue

What's up guys? So a coupe of days ago something weird happened... I was driving and tried to open the passenger's side window and noticed that it wouldn't open when I press either the switch on the driver's side and on the passenger's side. Also the "AUTO" labels don't light up only for the switches that open the passenger's side window, while the one for my window, lights up and works well. When I open the passenger's door, the window lowers and goes back up, so it's not the motor's fault... Please help

I know this is going to very simple but did you by any chance press down that button on the top left of your picture? its the one that looks like a car door with an up and down arrow and an X across it.

It looks like you're in an area where it may get cold. Have your windows frozen lately at all?

Either way, I would suggest you try doing a "reset" of that window.

Hold the passenger window switch on the DRIVER'S door all the way down for 10 seconds. Then hold the switch in the UP position for 10 seconds. This will reset the window.

I have had to do this before when my windows froze. However, in that scenario, the window switches on the driver's door would "flash" to warn me that something was amiss. Doing the reset has worked every single time this has happened.

I'm not sure if this will work for your particular situation, but it's worth trying!

Good luck!

And give the manual a read through where this and many other weird and wonderful helpful tips are all explained in detail.

You're just screwed ...... without the manual, you can't figure out how to get the boot open ...... without the boot being open, you can't get the manual ..... :confused0068:

I suggest you sell the car ...... before you get a flat tire ...... :iono:

What if the tyre is only flat at the bottom. Will I be ok?

Yes, it will be OK ....... on the roads in your area, you most likely will never notice it.

Besides, when you stop next time, there is a good chance that the previous flat spot won't be on the bottom again.
