I honestly didn't think i'd love this car more and more. I'm boosted now, but at the same time...a little bit of me regrets it. I drove my car stock for about 2 weeks before the supercharger went in and let me tell you, i enjoyed it so much i almost tried to return the supercharger i bought. It's a whole different car now. If i ever make a ton more money in the future a second 86 will be in my life that is a guarantee. That is how much i love this car.

Got the call from my dealer last night. My BRZ with performance package arrived at the rail head yesterday and should be at the dealer today or tomorrow

Got an email from my salesman. He said it arrived on the West Coast at a port in Seattle. It's on the rails now, and will possibly arrive before the 8th. :happyanim:

:w00t: Can't wait for mine!

Yeah, I'm still in this thread. Wife is still annoyed with me, "Look at this car", "Look at those rims", "Do you think we can...?".

I don't see how you guys do it. My car has been on order since Dec 27th and I'm going bonkers :bonk: over here. I've been to all the forums, I've read soo many threads and the like, I watch every youtube video I can for the car and bless her my wife :slap: wants me to just shut up. Seriously, I catch myself hitting the refresh button sometimes. What is happening to my life? I've already been to a few of the major sites we would get our parts from and made future wishlists...

Please post in this thread something that can help me stay sane till then? BTW I've been told late Feb.

I feel you, I have been obsessing over the 86/BRZ since 2012, I am FINALLY going into order one tomorrow and I can't even. Wife is being supportive, thankfully, So much YouTube, no sleep. Because racecar!

Your wife might need to join mine in some sort of FT86 support group. When I get the car I'm hoping there won't be any "if you love your car so much then how bout you..." conversations when I finally get it.

All joking aside, she has been quite supportive. She might be as excited as I am. It's been a while since I've told her to shut up and get in the car so we can just go have fun for a bit.

This message is for everyone! Don't forget to go live a little, life is short. I'm not saying to forget the future just remember that if you don't have fun along the way it's easy to just find the quickest way to the grave.

My girlfriend already told me to go marry my car and I've only had it a week

Nice car btw! I hope mine looks the same. :D Well with only a couple of differences anyway.

Still waiting for mine. I honestly can't take it anymore. I'm about to explode. :mad0260: :bonk:

I've seen people talk about getting their allocation number and even their VIN. When should I be contacting the dealership to get that kind of information? I have a VON which is what I got the day I placed the order but have gotten no information (other than a vague window) since.

When I contacted the dealership the last time which was a couple of weeks ago I got a bit of the cold shoulder about getting some info on the car. I had contacted them about something unrelated to when I can expect the car but didn't think it would hurt to ask. I don't like being told "we're not even close to that time so don't ask". I should be able to ask whatever I want and they should comply if they have money from me in the form of a deposit.

TLDR: When can I expect to get info on the allocation number and/or VIN? Two weeks to arrival, one week, etc..

Start asking after like a month before it arrives. Then keep asking every week. haha

Or ask every day.

Better yet, camp out at the dealership.

Do they make "I can't wait anymore" tents? I could see me just waiting outside the dealership. "Hey dude, is my car here yet?" Nothing but odd looks in return.

I am half hoping Tcoat will show up in this thread and post a "Dude Where's My Car" pic now.

Thank you guys for trying to keep me entertained even if you aren't actually trying. :D

Maybe we can get the mods to open a separate "FT86 Spouses Support" section of the forum?
