Who was the first person to cultivate weed to smoke it? Because weed in its natural form contains little to no thc. Only when you use selective breeding with weed can you eventually get it to produce thc

Indeed. Thoroughly debunked: https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...ion-urinating/

Why do I think this urban legend was started by a bunch of drunken beach goers as an excuse to pee on one of their "friends"?

I scraped this off the internet:

"Marijuana has been used as an agent for achieving euphoria since ancient times; it was described in a Chinese medical reference traditionally considered to date from 2737 B.C"

I doubt those folks back in 2737 B.C., were into selective breeding ..... :iono:

A valid comparison would be the Incas chewing coca leaves vs freebasing crack...

Yes, the active ingredient is present in the natural form, but the concentration is orders of magnitude less

Well now, nextcar, the "ditch weed" (wild hemp) some of us smoked as kids, back in the Midwest , reportedly had about 0.5 % THC. The good stuff, that Bubba sells down at the Pot Shop, down on the reservation, may have from 1-5% THC.

My point is that the use of cannabis sativa for "medicinal purposes" goes back much further than the science of selective plant breeding.

Now, where is ma medicine ........ :D

Somewhere, sometime, somebody said "hey hold my fermented berry juice and watch this", jumped on the back of a wild horse and rode around.

Ya did they just keep jumping on random animals until they found one that gave up and let them?

Things could have been very different now!

That actually another good point.

What was the first act ever done after someone said "Here, hold my beer."

That was why used it! Pretty sure I have said it myself a few times though.

You can not play this game anyway since you were probably there when half of these firsts happened.
