Delicious Tuning Flex Fuel for 2017+ Updated to Accommodate Manufacturer Revisions
 

ESCONDIDO, CA (January 04, 2017) – Thanks to manufacturer design changes made to ZN6-platform cars (Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86/GT-86) for the 2017 model year, Delicious Tuning has updated their flex-fuel system for the same models.

New kits for the twins are backwards-compatible, and old kits can be updated.

The factory-equipment alterations, which were design revisions to ZN6-based models as a part of standard generational updates (including improvements to the intake manifold, valvetrain, taillights and cam sensors), made it necessary for Delicious to tweak a basic design element of their flex-fuel kit for the car. The change doesn’t alter the Delicious system’s performance, and the kit is still plug-n-play. However, while the new “revised” ZN6-chassis BRZ/86/GT-86 (2017-plus) flex-fuel kit works on older BRZ/GT-86/FR-Ss (2012-2016), older kits won’t work on 2017 or newer ZN6s.
