Kraftwerks c30 help
Hey I'm close to completing the install of the c30 kit but the instructions given were very vague and I have extra parts that I'm sure need to go on. I have a couple adapters that I'm guessing goes into the hose that was connected to the intake manifold. I'm guessing I'm supposed to route it somewhere but not too sure where. And also there is a hose that looks like it's supposed to go on the end of the BOV. Sorry for the many questions as kraftwerks had nothing in the install manual about this. Help please!! Thank you!!

Have you tried their support line ? That prob the safest way to go

check out page 13 for the instructions and page 15 for the pictures. if that doesn't help you, then I highly recommend letting a professional finish the installation or call kraftwerks directly since this shouldn't be too difficult hopefully it helps. Check out this link for the owners thread for more info: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48406 Step 7: Install bypass valve recirculation hose. Connect the hose from the outlet of the bypass valve to the air intake tube. Use two 1” clamps to secure the hose. Step 8: Connect a vacuum source to bypass valve. Cut the factory brake booster hose and install the vacuum “T” in place. Secure the ends of each hose with the supplied 4” zip ties. Run the new vacuum line from the “T” and route line under the intake manifold around any rotating parts and connect to bypass valve. Secure line with the provided 4” zip ties. Step 9: Connect the crank case breather tube to the air intake. Use the supplied 1⁄2” hose and connect the factory breather line to the air intake. Secure hose ends with the supplied 4” zip ties. The second hose you are taking about is step 9. so it turns the BOV (bypass valve) into a recirc valve. The hose goes on the blow off valve to the intake on the supercharger where the plastic molding is. Use zip ties to hold it or get some worm clamps. I didn't put mine because I wanted to wooooshhhhh. so that hose isn't necessary. if you don't use that hose you'll have to plug the intake plastic molding with some sort of rubber plug. |
Haha thanks for the help guys. I contacted KW and they helped me. They sent me their new revised instructions with my kit and it was missing a lot. But everything is good now. Thanks!
