Rear side marker LEDs?
 

Anyone running LEDs in the rear side marker location in the tail lights? Looks like they are 5w5 size from the chart. Thinking about ordering Diode Dynamics HP5, which I think will fit there.


In any case anyone running LEDs in this location, comments/photos/advice appreciated. (don't want to blow up the BCU for example if this is a known issue like the problem with the BRZ door lights)

I'm running them in my car without issues. (DiodeDynamics)

Lots of info on this already. I ran LEDs in my OEM tails, just had to change the flasher under the dash.

pretty much any 194 LED bulb will fit there without any electrical issues

i have these red 194 LED bulbs from VLEDS. had them for 2 years now without any issues.

I was looking for the side markers not the turn signal location :)

Our HP3 and HP5 red LED replacements a perfect for this application. The diffuser lens will spread the light output evenly and give a nicer looking red color being that OEM red lens.
