I am running the Champiros as well and they have a very aggressive tread that will walk through the worst ice and snow thrown at them but are not fond of warm, dry conditions. Don't go nuts with the pressure since they get even more squirrely if to high. I stick to 34PSI.You will get used to them. They are a surprisingly good tire for the price.

What tire size are you running? I think I went too high with 235/45/17
