Removing decals

The dealer put its logo in a white decal on the back next to the license plate. What is the best way to remove it without scratching the paint or damaging anything?

Hair dryer usually works. You could try a heat gun but you better have a good feel for the heat it kicks out. I would not suggest GooGone unless you go with the automotive variety.

Easiest thing to try is to just see if it'll come off easy after sitting in the sun for a few hours... That is if you don't manage to always find shade to park it under. I think others might suggest using Goo Gone, but I haven't used that because I haven't needed to. There should be threads that answer the same question floating around if you dig deep...

Go to the dealer and say you didnt ask for it and you want it removed. They will be on the hook for not damaging the car. My dealer gave me some license plate covers that say "youre part of the family" ... which is all fine and dandy but kinda hurts the look of the car :P
