MXP Comp RS + Future Header
Hello,
I'm considering getting a header so I can go stage 2 but loudness, drone and rasp are concerns for me. Is there anyone that has a MXP comp RS catback with a UEL catless or catted header and everything else stock that can give me some insight? Thanks! Feel free to share sound clips if you have! |
It's horrible with drone, ESPECIALLY with a UEL catless header.
I'm typing this from work and will reply in more depth when I get home. It goes well above 93-94db and I used to trip car alarms often. Also had a complaint letter from my strata for excessive noise. |

Totally forgot to reply to this. But yeah.... Without headers, they're pretty decent. With catless headers, it's going to be loud. I remember everything rattling inside when i hit 2300-3300rpm or so. |
Haha no problem, guess I'll have to go Perrin resonated or even q300 if it's really that bad :(.

I have a JDL UEL header with my MXP Comp RS and it sounds AMAZING. I get compliments all the time. It's gonna be loud though.

It sounds fantastic. There's no drone in the cabin at all, and when you roll down the windows and punch it, the exhaust roars. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a catless header. |

This set up is with a Gruppe-S UEL w/ a Perrin 2.5 Resonated. |

Thx for all the feedback everyone! Love to hear everyone's experiences.

Seems like the catback plus headers is almost unbearable. But how's the MXP Comp RS just the catback for daily driving? Would it attract a lot of police attention? I'm wary of this exhaust because I heard it's similar to the Invidia N1 which is super loud and droney
