The towhook from cusco is solid. I don't see it snapping off.

Haha:party0030:

Install is super easy & obvious...

1) take the plastic cover off
2) spray anti-seize on the threads if you'd like
3) screw in (hand tighten)

First part that came in :/ Just ordered my other parts in today - hoping to get them in a week or 2.

Tow Hook looks nice IRL. I might drill the plastic piece to make it look a bit cleaner but its fine as is IMO. Still waiting on front one to come in & I'm actually considering another 1 in the back just for some symmetry LOL

For all those worried about their cars getting towed away you can unscrew the actual red hook and screw it back on come track day (knock on wood you wont ever have to use them).

Looks like the battery is going in the trunk and the air filter is going there instead on REV. 2

Flawless22 07-12-2012 03:59 AM

brianc 07-12-2012 08:54 AM

Yea... I'm holding off on any other mods till I see how they manage to fit everything in. As it is I don't see how a front strut bar will fit so there goes the money I spent on that yesterday :sigh: Also looks like the aFe intake wont fit either?

If you don't want the plastic piece can I buy it off you? I was trying to drill mine yesterday but made the hole in the wrong spot :P

Na braahh, the yellow tow hook adds 20 - this here ones red. It adds 25 -40whp if you slap a cusco sticker on your car.

Aren't you worried it'll be tempting for someone to steal when parked since it just screws in? I think I'd be too paranoid to leave it on 24/7.

So we'll be expecting you at autocrosses and time attacks this season? :)

Na... I live in a safe area. + they are tight enough that you would need a wrench to take em out.
