Car dyno?

Anyone know of a good cheap shop in/near Livermore that i can get my car Dyno'd at? After Neal finishes fully tuning my Edelbrock kit i want to do a few pulls and see roughly where i'm sitting.

I tried searching for another thread like this in this forum sub-group but noluck...i'm also really bad at searching for things on the internet

If Neal is custom tuning it vs. a premade tune from Delicious or Edelbrock's CARB tune, he should have it on a dyno anyways.

Its a Delicious Tune, dialed in for his car. Dyno's are not required for tuning, they are just a nice tool to have.

It's a Delicious tune that we are refining. And Neal doesnt have a dyno. I was just seeing who people went to. A lot of websites dont say if they even have a dyno or if they charge you for just a few pulls on it.

Don't know of one close that way. FFTec in Hayward is probably the closest? I think there is a shop in Tracy but don't recall the name of it

It probably wouldnt help in this case bute use Google and type "site:ft86club.com" and then whatever you want to search. Itll pull up results from here only and works better then the built in forum search

Yeah, dont know their pricing but Shiv uses them for the OFT stuff. Mann Engineering hosted the dyno day for us in the past so they might be a good. Or Elite Performance.

Those are the ones i would check with

There's shop in Livermore right by Consuelitos and 7-11, they specialize in Noble's, but they have a dyno and I've seen a turbod/rocket bunny FRS on their dyno before.

Not positive the name of the shop, but it's right behind that little strip. (Directly behind the Starbucks)

PS: Tin Thai right there is also very delicious lmao

Specializes in Nobel? Wtf? Such a weird brand to be specialized in. Will be awesome to go see some Nobels though. Thanks for the tip!

FYI, Mann charges $120 for 3 pulls and is open Mon-Fri. Might be interesting to get on their dyno to compare to others results from the dyno day earlier this year.

Oh that actually sounds like a good idea.

@Xxyion - I wonder when we might be able to put another dyno day together. Doing dyno runs as a social event on the weekend was a lot of fun. Plus it was $60 instead of $120.
