Spyder Headlight help!

2 Attachment(s)
So I bought Spyder headlights for my 13 BRZ and I'm completely lost on how to hook them up, I'm guessing I'm missing a ballast or something because When I bought the car it came with the stock FRS headlights. Below is a link to the lights I bought and 2 pictures of the connections. Picture 1 is the headlights connection and picture 2 is the 3 connection the car has. Any help would be appreciated it. Thank you

You are missing stock ballasts and actually xenon lightbulbs :( BRZ came with FRS galogens??... Why? The FRS headlights come with 6-pin connectors, so it wont be plug and play for you. The bottom pic shows some aftermarket stuff I think.

Here in the US, you won't have xenons with a ballast..I don't remember what the connections on the car end look like exactly, but you are holding 3 connectors there that look more like the connections for the turn signal/fog/side marker area

Edit: Followed the link you posted and looks like you bought the BRZ version which have the turn signals incorporated in the headlight. You can either repin your car so your headlights are your blinkers or you should return the headlight for the FRS version (6-pin connector)

Sorry for my ignorance but would I need to exchange them for the FRS headlights when my car is a BRZ?

From your link, it seems that you purchased the correct ones. However, what did you actually get? Can you verify P/N on the box? It looks like you may have been shipped the FRS version? Can you call Spyder and ask? When you removed the OEM lights, did you have any parts that need to be moved from one headlight to another?

so you have a BRZ but had the stock halogen FRS headlights installed instead?

Are you sure that's the headlight connectors in the bottom pic? They look like 2pin connectors so can't be right. The triangular 3 pin connector is one of the correct ones, it will connect to the level motor. Check under your stock headlight the connector is usually there

sounds crazy but it is right, here's a picture of the lights I took off it, you can see the 2pin connection bulbs that they plugged into

I think what I need to do is buy a 8pin pigtail to plug into the headlight, and use the diagram below to cut the 2pin plugs and wire them to the 8pin

My bad. Your post reads a little confusing. Couldn't wrap my head around why a BRZ would have FRS headlights...seems like quite the downgrade

Ok I see what's going on.
You need to follow those 2 pin connectors eventually they join into a single connector. Which is 8pin for brz and 6 pin for frs.
But if previous owner has installed frs lights it was probably custom and the cable may have been removed.
