Yeah but i'd recommend it if you're going to boost. It's also a lot cheaper to buy it used. Let's say you were going to buy the Edelbrock or JRSC for example you can save money by getting the TUNER version and have them send their CARB tune to you. Assuming your car is stock.
I mean there's a lot of ways you can justify this purchase but this is one of them.
