Huh interesting. AE86 tuning was 4,000,000yen less than Exige tuning and did that great race against Exige is pretty good... but of course driver made the BIG difference. AE86 god Tsuchiya Keiichi-Sama~

I was expecting the x-bow and 2eleven will put out a good fight cuz the are lighter than the AE86 N2, how much is ¥4M in $US?

Did that say 5.5A-GE on the AE86?

Heh I was JUST talking about the 5A on another thread!

Hmm... makes me question the accuracy of GT5, if I broke a minute with my stock weight/power FT86, and I'm the slow guy there... Or are these real tires closer to Sport Softs?

You have to remember that its a concept car in GT5, and is given a speculated flat 1000kg weight. Full production will most definitely be heavier. In the end GT5 is only a simulator...a damned good one, but still just a simulator. Track condition plays a part too (how hot, how humid, wind speed/direction, etc).

Dimman 04-13-2011 11:53 PM

^ That's why I raced it at stock weight, I figure that will be a 'real' weight for a pretty drastic gutting. I'll try again with Sports Soft tires, as I didn't see slicks on the BMI cars. That should slow the time down a lot.

^ I'll give it a shot with mids and update my time on the Tsukuba thread. (This is going to be ugly...)

Don't forget, tires they used are Racing tires in N2 races. In the vid, they states that "they usually wear Racing tires, but for today, we'll be using sports tires"

Gotta love been Japanese :)
