So, I recommend you take it up to a muffler/auto shop and have them install it (they will figure it out) then .......

Since @Tcoat led you astray ...... I suggest you send him the bill from the muffler shop ....... :D

I wasn't trying to say anything is your fault. I pointed out your post because if you google anything about a 2017 BRZ exhaust (like I did after finding out the flange was the wrong size), your post comes up and is very misleading to people searching the web. You may want to edit it with a correction.

That whole exhaust thing is a bit baffling since the part numbers remain the same and most manufactures do indeed claim they fit when obviously they don't. I will indeed edit but there are several threads on the subject and many people that said the same thing so it may be tough to change everything.
