Best auto collision repair shop :(

Hello all... I bring you here today to ask for help.

Some dingus hit my brand new 2016 BRZ my and now it is ruined. :brokenheart:

*Sighs* I can't seem to find a good auto body shop in Portland.

I want a good place that will handle my car with care and I want OEM parts (my baby deserves the best!) I have shopped around so far at SI's auto body and EAST CANYON collision repair but I want to know where the subie fam recommends.

Honestly don't think 4k is a lowball...brand new fender is $400-500 (ebay is about 150-200 for a used whit one) front bumper can be had for 400-500 painted. If you want to with the 4k you can get whatever bumper you want and some wide fenders and still come out ahead a few thousand after paint.

The stuff on the rear looks like it will mostly buff out unless there is more damage than it looks

I have another estimate from another bodyshop that says starting damage will be 6k starting and that it will most likely go to 8k and above. There's more damage but I can't post all the pictures for some reason. Photobucket restrictions.

I'm just trying to find a good auto repair shop that won't stiff me on parts and only use OEM replacement parts and have good blending. Since I just bought my car like a couple months ago I don't want to be cheated with used parts which will diminish the value even more. :(

Wow coincidence this thread came up! I literally just got into an accident a few hours ago. Someone rear ended me and I'll be taking my FRS to ACP on Burnside again (last time someone backed into it in a parking lot -.-). I've had a good experience with ACP! Lemme know if you wanna know more

I am sorry you had to suffer that. Hope you ok man. I checked out ACP as well! How was the repair? Did they take long? Did they use OEM parts? Was it costly? The other instance will be paying for all my repairs so I'm not stingy.

Yeah I'm alright, for now. Might feel worse tmrw, but thanks! Hmm well, I think the number of days they'll have your car has a couple factors it depends on. The damage was just paint on the front bumper, no other damages. They had my car for 2 and a half weeks, but 10 of those days was waiting for the adjuster to come in before they could touch my car. The adjuster came in twice, so 5 days of waiting per visit. They asked an adjuster to come in the second time because they wanted to try and convince the insurance company there was more damage the other person caused to my car to fix the slight seam misalignment by the fender and hood which was actually there when I bought the car. It wasn't approved by the adjuster cuz he wasn't the careless adjuster that usually visits them and blindly approves everything. But point is, they work for you. The group of guys there are wholeheartedly nice people that just want you happy in hopes that you give them a good rep. They touched up my entire car, waxed the hood and front end, and even though they didn't need to and weren't approved by insurance to do so, they got me a new grille and emblem cuz it had a bunch of rock chips on it. Yeah they were new OEM parts, and I know cuz I saw the packaging right by my car when I picked it up. I don't know how to express how busy they are but they are efficient workers and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time.

Go to autozone and buy what ever fits to cover it up.

Jokes aside- just go to the dealer and ask them who they partner with for their auto body work. Saved you a headache IMO.

I've done that before. Beaverton Toyota gets their work done across the street at precision. Had a bad experience with them long time ago. Exact opposite of what OP is looking for

Well... that's Disappointing.

Um...don't you have insurance? And usually, insurance companies have a list of recommended body shops that work with the insurer directly. 3 claims I have made now, and all of them have turned out great.

I just had my FRS in at Artistic Auto Body in Tigard and they did a fantastic job. I've also gone to Brady'a Auto Body in Vancouver, they're Vancouver Toyota's preferred shop.

Gresham Superior Autobody is my go to shop. They did all the painting on my bodykit and fenders. The paint match is Superior!!

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to give ACP a try. My wife managed to bang up her Nissan Rogue pretty good yesterday. Fortunately, she's OK, but the car is a mess.
