Enkei DM5 center cap replacement help
Hi All,
I bought some used DM5 rims and they are missing the center caps. I had researched a bit and found replacement caps, but they are $60-$70 a cap. I cant see paying that for replacement caps for winter rims. I was wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper method of covering the center cap(like a cheap universal)? Or am I gonna have to rig something?(just hoping someone has run into this before) One thought is that I can measure the center and try to find a center cap that will cover it or maybe fab something, worried they might fly off though. |
When i searched caps for my currently discontinued and no info on what type caps were before aftermarket wheels, first i tried best to measure and order from here but probably weren't precise enough and two of those fallen off when driving on bad roads. Then i found this alternative. You mostly need to measure only center hole diameter, as legs are of multiple lengths, resulting in universality of fitments. I guess that one can easily find stick on branding logo caps to glue on these.
