Moto-East Flex Fuel Kit Troubleshooting

Hey guys,

Any of you who is running flex fuel had this problem? I've been running moto-east's FF kit for 2 years now and suddenly today, I tried starting my car, I noticed my Flex Fuel gauge not working. No display or readout. My car would turn over to start, but would die. I know this has something to do with the kit, but what component could it be? I checked all the wiring and it checks out fine. It all boils down to the gauge, analyser, or the sensor. Any ideas? TIA!

id check the fuse if the display is blank

if the fuse is blown then check wiring for damage or shorts the fuse blew for a reason

check their is 12v and earth to sensor\eca analyser module

Measure the voltage on the signal wire to ecu it will either go to rear o2 or cpc volts shouls be between 0.5 and 4.5 depending on ethanol content if its 0v or 5v likely someyhing is wrong especially 0v

Thanks Steve,
Checked the fuses and they are intact. Really stumped here. I will double check the earth/ground wire.

If you got yourself the ECU harness i would take it out and put it back in. I had some issues when I first did mine but no issues ever since. Also track the wires and check their state.

Okay thanks bro. Will check it out. Still waiting for moto-east's response to my email.

If you have the harness, I'd likely say the issue is the connection in it or to your Zeitronics unit. Check all of the connections and drive around then report back to us with pictures. Mine went in flawlessly and I haven't had any issues since the install, though I left a lot of slack in the wiring to the Zeitronics unit and the gauge display.
