2017 G meter

So I'm scrolling through the menus while I'm driving and noticed I can't get to the g-meter screen which besides g-force shows real time brake, throttle, and streering input. It looks like I can only access the g-screen when I'm fully stopped.. what the hell's the point of having it if it can't be seen in real time while I'm driving.... is it because they don't want people staring at the screen while driving? page 219 of the manual confirms it can't be accessed while driving. what a fail subaru:thumbdown:

Yeah, I had read that too which is disappointing. So basically it can only be selected when stopped but it can still be seen while driving? Or is it just a log that records previous g-force?

it does turn off after a little while I notice. It doesn't stay on, it did, however, stay on longer when I had track mode on and I was on the track. Sadly I didn't really pay attention to it since I was the focus on driving instructions from the instructor. Sorry, It's not much help.

They save money by just putting a dot in the middle of the screen. Only works when stationary :D

Sort of answered your own question. They failed by keeping people from being distracted? Set it while stopped and glance at it while moving simple as that.

Can't glance at it while moving it disappears immediately upon moving and the hp/torque screen appears.

Zaku I tried it with sport mode on too thinking it was track only...same result

AHHHH I see. I thought you just meant you couldn't set it while moving (which makes sense). Weird.

If you wish to watch it while driving, you just need to place a cup of water in the coffee holder. I'm not kidding.

I also find it odd that they block the g-meter while in motion, but allow you to see where you are on the RPM-based power curve. Hopefully there will be a way to alter this via programming.

What if women had a G-Spot meter so it will let you know how close you are to hitting her G-Spot?

It would only work while you weren't moving. As soon as you started moving it would disappear.
