Elite Performance in Burlingame and WORKS next to Sonoma Raceway can help you with that.

Neal at The Racers Line is the forced induction wizard.

I would call everyone and compare prices however my go to guy is Neal @ The Racer's Line. He's going to be doing my Edelbrock Kit in the next month and i'm buying the kit from him as well.

Silly question - how mechanically inclined are you?
I ask as the supercharger install is about a weekend to put in.

The BIG advantage of doing it yourself is learning what to fix/replace in case something goes wrong.

(On my old Miata), I had a pulley seize on me once on the way to an autocross. I was lucky enough to have a wrench and the original belt in my trunk. So I did the swap right of the freeway off-ramp. I wanted to do the auto-c with the SC but, still was able to do the event and drive home.

This is so true. I wish i had a garage. Otherwise i think i'd do a lot of my mods myself. However the prospect of leaving a bunch of tools and parts lying out there for hours in a apartment complex parking lot doesnt seem like a good idea lol. But yeah good question for the OP

You could do it yourself within a day's work

FirstWinter 11-22-2016 07:39 PM

You can install it yourself, but for Edelbrock supercharger you have a powertrain warranty or something if you get it installed by a certified mechanic.

You'd have to PM Neal for that information. Just about every kit comes with a premade tune though, so you don't need additional dyno time unless you want it customized. In the case of the Edelbrock and JR CARB tunes, you have to use their provided tunes or they're no longer CARB-certified.

Most installs hover around the 8 hour mark. $90/h labor rate. There are CARB tune options for most of the superchargers or I can provide you with a Delcious tune.

Shoot me a PM or email neal@theracersline.com, I'm happy to answer any questions.
