Since there is very limited info on this I took one for the team. Install involves sanding your roof down and applying a ton of epoxy to it. I will let the fitment speak for itself. I am very happy with the hood and trunk but the roof leaves a little to be desired. Plan is to just paint those orange bits black and call it a day. Enjoy :)

They don't make a carbon roof panel replacement?

They do, but that's dry carbon and one hell of a install. This mod is purely cosmetic

It looks good. I thought you did a replacement when I asked about weights in your build thread. Didn't you mention hail damage somewhere?

I originally thought it was a replacement lol. Turns out its not.

Yeah I had hail damage this covers it up  and its so glued on its never coming off haha. As far as weight goes it only adds weight as it sits on top

I get now. I didn't know there was an overlay made.

Yeah turns out the wet carbon roof is a overlay and the dry carbon roof is a replacement. See this is why we need more people to buy and test things out haha

Gotcha. As a suggestion, I would plasti-dip the inner edges black where the orange shines through by the edges of the carbon cover so that it looks more seamless.

I'd be pissed if I dropped that kind of cash on a roof and it fit like that.

I Hear they have the worst customer service haha. Honestly I am going to have to live with it. If I wanted perfect fitment I would have left the roof alone as it was fine haha

Clipdat 11-17-2016 07:50 PM

Doesn't hurt to ask. Worst they can say is no.
