Automatic gear selector wiring pinout

I am looking for the pinout or wiring diagram for the connector that goes to the Auto gear selector. I have looked all over the wiring diagram thats posted in a few places on here and cannot figure out the wiring pinouts for what gear is what. The reason I am looking for this is because I am eventually going to do an engine swap with a 2jz auto and need to figure out how to manually wire the FRS gear selector to send signal to the 2jz trans contol ECU.

I understand I may get a few "why go auto?" type replies, but that is my choice. I want to run a paddle shifted 2jz in my car.

That's going to be one interesting build for sure.

I sure do! I've been putting aside money for some time now. Even more importantly the woman approved the project knowing what all is involved! I have been following all the 2JZ swap threads on here and know what all is involved with most of it. From what I can tell, I am the only one that will be utilizing the stock automatic tranny that comes with most JDM 2JZ VVTi engines. I am not building a super high horsepower car, just something fun to drive around. I know I could drop it off at some shop and hand them $30k and pick it up in 4 months, but I want to do it myself. More satisfaction knowing I built it, rather than I "bought" it.

I have looked over the general wiring harness 100 times. The colors and pinouts on the stock FRS gear selector harness do not match anything on that diagram. I may just have to wire in a JDM Supra gear selector if I cant figure it out.

NICE! I really hope you can pull this off. I love seeing a cool swap. Personally I went with the FI route as its a lot cheaper and quicker haha! Are you gonna fab all your own mounts or buy something like what CX racing makes for the swap??

I am currently FI with an SBD 12psi kit. Some parts I will fab like the wiring harness and return fuel system. Motor mounts I may get from Excessive or CX. I will say that I like the option of the CX downpipe and intercooler piping. That would save some time if the fitment is correct. A big "IF"
