Front brake rotors swapped to rear

has anyone ever bought a big brake kit for their front brakes and then just swapped the oem front brakes to the rear brakes? if so, what exactly would you need to do? swap out the calipers and the rotors, or just swap rotors? (assuming if you swap the calipers as well the brake pads and mountings will go with it). thank you :party0030:

You should look into how your parking brake works, and then delete this thread.

One way to find out!

As @Tokay444 said, this is not possible due to the rear brakes having drums incorporated into them for the parking brake. Additionally, most BBKs are made with brake bias in mind, and putting a different setup on the rear that is not paired to the fronts could potentially have poor results.
