2017 gauge cluster

I tried searching around to see if anyone has already looked into this or asked. But has anyone found out if it's possible to swap in a 2017 gauge cluster into a lesser year? Does it require the ECU as well, or is that gauge cluster all inclusive with the digital display? I am just wondering if it would be a direct plug and play swap if I went and purchased a new meter from the dealership and tried to get them to program the mileage into it.

Just a guess but, your likely also going to need the steering wheel to navigate the new cluster, and harness.

I'd bet on it not being a simple swap whatsoever.
