Scion dealer memorabilia
Just wondered with Scion going away and the Scion dealers taking down all the Scion logos and memorabilia if anyone has scored anything for their garage?
Usually companies stipulate in the contracts that everything must be destroyed. But it will be interesting to see what survives!
Yeah, it'll be cool over the next ten years to watch the value of that stuff go up to a dollar.
I grabbed a couple 2'x3' logo signs. Told my salesman friend to save them for me. Just gotta hang them up.
I got 2 Scion vinyl drawstring back packs that are a lil worn out, 1 messenger bag and 2 full size back packs in excellent condition. ;)
I'd like to score a Scion lighted sign if I could.
I was a pinball machine hobbyist. The end of an era was marked when the Gottlieb factory in Northbrook IL closed, and a friend of mine scored a HUGE sign consisting of individual letters spelling the company name. Not sure if he eventually sold it as he was a hoarder and the full name was probably 20' long. I could see that signs for a defunct car brand could be desireable for the right people. |
I know DeLorean dealership signage & memorabilia is valuable whereas YUGO, Daihatsu, and Daewoo is as dead as their cars.
There's also a market for AMC memorabilia, but Delorean and AMC were real automotive companies. Scion was never anything more than a fake brand for Toyota.

I got this:

I have a little Scion keychain penlight that shines the Scion logo...

When is it going to be replaced with a giant Toyota logo? |
