I used a multi surface degreaser (lysol h202 spray, contains no bleach) for the plastic and rubber parts under the hood after using the mothers. The buffer "slings" the compound around a bit. I spray the cleaner on a rag, not directly on the engine. Then scrub. Then compressed air. Works great! You can see a huge difference in the plug "boot" on top of the alternator. |
