Sorry to see your car is totaled. Yup, your baby saved you. :) Hope you'll heal fast.
2017's are awaiting you. Perhaps BRZ this time around. ;)

Glad you're okay. But get yourself checked out by a doctor. If you have any questions relating to insurance, please feel free to PM/ask me. I investigate these types of losses as my day job.

Yea I'm going to the doctor. Does hurt actually. And I was going straight. We both were. He had the light red the whole time. My first thought after the impact was that it was my fault, I looked up and my light was still green and his still red. No recent light changes. Luckily their was a witness who stayed until the cops came to clarify any ill reputation my small cool car might make on a first impression

If what you're saying is true and the cops verified everything / ticketed the other person. I would stay off the forum with information and be contacting an attorney. Things may get messy quickly. Do that before even talking to your insurance or the other drivers.

Highly agree the forums can become your enemy during legal cases.

Woah don't scare me guys. I have that "if I don't do anything wrong/ illegal, I should have nothing to worry about" Mindset. Thank you guys for the advice.

That is just called being naïve. Insurance companies will take statements by recording (both) and will try and find discrepancies. Seriously, this is a total loss with another driver involved. There is a lot that could go wrong (including the other driver trying to sue you / your insurance company) so it is best to be protected from the get go. Now that you're definitely accruing medical bills that should / will be paid by insurance in the long run it is (in my experience) good to have legal representation walk you through the process and give you sound council. I would delete this thread and all talk of it though because the insurance companies definitely search for threads and facebook posts for incriminating evidence to have leverage and avoid paying out.

Sadly true- you got good advice. Have a mod wipe this out. Heal fast.
