First AutoX with my FRS- with videos- some sights and sounds

Since getting the FRS I have wanted to take it to an Autocross. So yesterday my son and I went to an airfield autocross event in Brooksville, FL. My son is 16 and this is first time doing an AutoX, he was in an automatic Yaris.

My times aren't competitive, the stock tires are terrible and I have only done one other AutoX last January, so I'm just trying to get experience and learn how to do this. Here's a couple videos.

Mods are silicone intake tube, K&N drop-in, gutted cats, OFT stage 2, cherry bomb on the mid pipe and Berk dual exit. Video chosen more for the run with the best sound (wind & other cars kind of messed with the sound) and a partial in-car (I didn't do my dashcam right and lost most of my videos :bonk: ). My best run was the last run of the day but it was no where near the fast cars' times.

FYI you need to make your Facebook posts public before anyone will be able to see them.

Regarding the stock tires, they do suck, but it would take quite a few autocrosses (read: at least one whole season) before they truly become the limiting factor for you. Ask me how I know, lol. By the end of my first year autocrossing on the stock tires, I was scrapping for mid-position in class against people with much stickier rubber. You can eek out some decent times on them with enough practice :)
