BAE's WRB BRZ Ltd

Picked up my car yesterday. Very happy with the car so far. :party0030:
What was different than I expected:
- the suspension was firmer
- it was even more tail happy than I though. The Michelin's are breaking loose very easy
- the very low end torque was better than I feared
- the engine noise was louder in a positive way

A few pictures of the car together with its big brother:

The BRZ is very different from the GT-R..

Quite a stable there! How many miles are on the BRZ now?

BAE 07-11-2012 12:38 AM

80 miles :-)

I'd say so!

Congrats on the purchase -- those two cars make for a very fun and versatile stable to be sure.

Thanks! The difference between the cars are 400 hp and 500 kg. Two different sports. I have to get used to looking in the rear-view mirror again on the track. :-)

what part of houston are you from? i think ive seen that GTR before.

BAE 07-11-2012 05:25 PM

I live in Katy and work in the Westchase area. I have been to Coffee and Cars a couple of times as well.

One question. This my first brand new car. Should I wax the car right away to get a good base?

bimmerboy 07-11-2012 05:51 PM

dear-god you have my dream garage of cars, must be nice.

And to answer your question. I would do a full detail rather than just wax (Clay, polish, wax).

^^^This, clay and wax will go a long way.

I would wash, clay, use a sealant of some sorts, I use Jetseal 109 and then wax it. This will ensure the ultimate amount of protection of your new car.

ah probably not you that i saw then. the one i saw had a bunch of young asian kids on campus at UH. which dealer did you get your brz from? did you get it for msrp? i also notice you dont have front plates. are you taking advantage of the loop hole for no front plates in 2012, or just dont give a fudge?

fistpoint 07-11-2012 11:29 PM

I'm sure your neighbors are quite jealous.

KevinDuMa 07-12-2012 01:47 AM

Wow...the difference in driving must feel different going from one to another. Assuming the BRZ is your daily driver great choice! Both cars look sick
