Opticoat a used car?
 

I just purchased a used 2013 FRS (white color) with about 13000 miles on it. I'm wondering if it's worth putting Opticoat or something similar on it? Or is it not worth it on a used car at this point? Maybe the damage is already done? Thanks!

I would suggest that you wash it with a soap (like dishwashing Dawn) to take off the old wax. Then purchase a clay bar kit (at any auto store).

Wash the car (to get rid of all the old wax), clay bar the car (to remove unwanted particles that may be imbedded in the clear coat), then wax it with a good, name brand wax.

Now, if it looks perfect, you may consider an opti-coat type stuff. If it doesn't look all that perfect, I'd suggest you skip the coating. Just wash it when it gets dirty and wax it a couple times a year.

Opticoat is awesome but your car is a few years old already.
It maybe expensive for you because of any paint correction that needs to be done on the car before applying opticoat. I did my opticoat pro when my car was like almost a month old. Not much paint correction cause car was new. Take it to a authorized Opticoat installer to get a estimate after you give the car a good wash and wax. Just my 2 cents! ;)
