Just wanted to share some progress pics. Before we had 255/35 tires on the wheels and we changed them to 225/40s. Lowered it more to fill in the gap a little.

Are the foglight surounds painted white as well?

Toyobaru808 07-10-2012 09:43 PM

how are the tein flex compared to stock?

Memphis 07-10-2012 10:33 PM

Got anymore pictures of the car with those wheels?

denkigrve 07-10-2012 10:36 PM

Any other shots of the car from other angles to show how the wheels fit?

I saw the springs and knew what it was on lol.

You should definitely do a write-up on the Tein's as well so other people interested will get some first-hand impressions.

love 11R's, whats the offset?

denkigrve 07-10-2012 11:05 PM

You know what. I finally figured out what the DY-12C from yoshihara design were a copy of. It's these wheels. Heh.

I concur, need the offset. Not listed on official website, either.

not sure how i feel about the white on black theme. more pictures might sway me to like it more. LOVE the stance though. i second doing a write-up on the teins. I have the flexs on my mr2 and i love the way it rides and handles.

autofashionfred 07-11-2012 07:14 PM

Sorry guys ill get more pictures of how the wheels fit.

offset please!

Another question, are your flex's maxed all the way down? or do you still have some play? Thanks!

They are +30 all the way around. The Teins are maxed out. The rear shock is too tall and once you max out the shock body it still sits about 2 finger gap from the fender and the top of the tire. We ended up adjusting the spring to drop it lower. The front you can drop it more if you take out a few collars. Dont want to mess up the integrity of the suspension so we might have to see if maybe swift can make some smaller springs that we can use without lowering the stroke too much.
