I love how almost every article says they are not bothered by the low horsepower, and that the car won them over on the track.....exactly what its all about

A lot of manufacturers will watch this car's sales and if its not up to what they expect then they might not bother making something identical to the FRS/BRZ. Also with the addition of more competition comes a thinner market for a low powered N/A lightweight coupe. The FRS/BRZ will probably sell around 100k units in 5 years worldwide with the first 3 years being about 70% of that. If more competition comes then its split between a small margin for 5 years. Also the new MX-5 is on its way in and might steal the thunder from the FRS/BRZ with its rumored -2300 lb curb weight.

I DVR it every week! Glad I'll be watching it soon..lol

Watched the review this morning. Very positive review, and shows them even throwing it around a bit in Nevada. It was very obvious they liked the car and the return of this type of sports car.

Unfortunately they didn't do their standard measured tests on the FR-S, so I'm guessing they only got to drive it at the Nevada Press event.

Worth catching if you haven't seen it.
