you are the first person i've seen even mention the greddy evo gt. I love the sound as it is but the drone gets to me on long drives. I'm getting the gruppe-s uel/overpipe in on friday. will update.

I hear ya on the drone it deffs gets annoying af and I also think a lot of people go Nvidia cause it's cheaper or maybe the Evo ft is new but I look forward to ur update thanks

I don't have the GT, I have the EVO III, but if the GT is anything like my Evo III w/ Tomei UEL headers, just prepare yourself.

The drone is incredible.

It sounds extremely good in person with the OFH, especially in the high rpm. No drone (on e85) at 70, at 75-80 you get a little but not bad by any means. With 91/93 fuel however it is noticably louder. Tolerable at 70 but a bit annoying anything above that.

None that are worth posting. I'll get some tomorrow and report back since you're interested.

Not that I have anything worthy to compare it to, but I dont believe the drone is bad at all on the evo GT... everyone said they fixed it from the evo 3. especially given I drive it 100+ miles a day every day at 80mph and have no issues with drone at steady speeds. Having said that, if you think its too quiet right after you install it, wait til you put 5 or 10k miles on it. It definitely gets louder and is loud with stock headers and cats when you punch it.

Why does it get louder at 5 to 10k? Just breaking it in?

I don't know exactly but the packing in the muffler in aftermarket exhausts seems to break down relatively fast which makes the exhaust significantly louder after a few months or few thousand miles. I remember when i installed it it got loud around 6k and up but now any time its accelerating hard it is loud. Good thing is that it is still quiet at steady speeds like 60 or 80 mph (and mine is auto so it isnt revving as high at 80 compared to manual)

didn't get a chance to record yet but gruppe-s uel headers, overpipe, stock front pipe and evo gt catback is so loud. it sounds amaaaazing. but it is so loud and i live in california so i feel like it's a ticket waiting to happen. Do you guys know if there is any front pipe that will lower the volume a bit or is the catback itself the one that's responsible for the loudness? i looked into the jdl ultra quiet front pipe but i'm reading that it's still louder than stock front pipe.
