Valenti Lights Mars Performance?
 

Hi Guys,
I'm looking to buy a set of Valenti rear tail lights. I'm in Australia and Mars Performance has these lights really cheap. I'm wondering if they are legit Valenti products and if anyone has used their service.

I don't know about Mars Performance but I believe @LED86 is your go to for legit lighting parts in Australia.

Thanks for that. I'm aware of this website however its double the price of Mars so just seeing whether I can get them cheaper.

There's Valenti products direct from Valenti (as per LED 86) as there's Valenti products direct from the manufacturer (Mars Performance / CT Auto). That's the price difference. They are exactly the same product.

Whether you feel morally obliged to go legitimately through Valenti direct is up to you. But i know where my money would rather go :)

Thanks for the info. So Mars Performance manufactures the lights using Valenti's design? I'm not sure what you mean when you say I can either get it form them directly or from a manufacturer. Does that mean that Mars Performance makes the product using Valenti's design or do they make their own version of the product?

I think what he means is Mars goes straight to the manufacturer and get the lights from then whereas LED86 goes through Valenti

As stated above the difference is purchased through factory or purchased through Valenti but it's basically the same product.
The real difference comes down to the reseller. To get access to the rest of valenti's products like relays, side markers, headlights and the new revo tail lights you can only sell products directly purchased through Valenti. If you sell the cheaper versions you get on valenti's ban list. This is why you don't see the majority of resellers with the other products.

Plus, doesnt Mars Performance have a bit of a non-solid customer record?

What do you mean by this? That they have a bad rep and or bad customer service?

As in, bad rep from some bad customer service. Remember reading up when I was thinking about getting a SC and the reviews were mixed (annoyingly searching for mars performance turns up quite a bit of Bruno Mars' concert performances...)
