Thought I would post my station and %. Not all E85 pumps are equal.

Mine is at 735 Capitol expressway auto mall, San Jose.

Where is your station and, if so equipped, post the %?

Unless you have a flex-fuel kit ECA installed, OFT will not read ethanol %.

a friend with an ECA went around to all the Bay Area stations about two years ago and found that the Propel branded stations tended to be most consistent, at around 80% E. So I pretty much stuck with Propel brand when I was on E85. They have an app for your mobile phone if you want to see all their locations nearby.

This^^

Propel is by far the best.

I fill up at the Willow Pass Chevron near my shop in Concord. It is consistently 70-75, but I have NEVER seen 85%. It is NOT a propel station. When I drive at Laguna, I try and fill up in San Jose to get the better Propel e85.

Yep.. I've been filling up with Propel E85 in San Jose on Montague and North 1st Street for the past 3 years. It's always been 78~80%, year-round.

My OFT reads my ethanol content.
Had to get the table from Shiv. And Neal installed it for me.

I also use the willow pass Pearson station, and also the Propel station on paseo padre in Fremont. Both consistently im at 72-74%.

Have yet to see higher unfortunately, I should try these San jose ones, everyone seems to be getting closer to 80%, im jealous.

I got out of the OFT game when I went with the JRSC ... but I heard Shiv was working on the E85 flex fuel solution. Are you saying that the OFT can read E% without an ECA? Or do you mean Neal installed an ECA and the OFT supports displaying the readings from it?

I believe the flex fuel kit I ordered from Shiv yes comes with an ECA. And it is compatible with the tablet readings after you upload the table for it.
