HELP!! BRZ FRONT BUMPER ON FRS
 

I have a 2013 Frs and switched front bumpers out for the brz bumper. The blinkers aren't recognized by the turn signal and its in hyper flash. Im trying to figure out how i can fix this, ill post pictures later. Thanks

You switched an FR-S front bumper for a BRZ front bumper ...... now that is a switch ....... :confused0068:

Maybe your FR-S is "rejecting" the foreign part ..... ??

Seriously, I have summoned our local expert @Ultramaroon , on electrical things, for your assistance.

Meanwhile, I suggest you check all the appropriate fuses.

Next, check all wires that should be grounded.

Maybe you have a bad bulb .. ??

Are the blinkers in your brz bumper LED? If your frs bumper was halogen and your brz bumper is led, you need a blinker module to account for the drastically different resistance between the two.

OT but good place to put it. I have read that FR-S parts will fit an 86. An FR-S front bumper would fit the 17 86, correct? A BRZ bumper would as well then, correct?

Yes, They bot have the same clips and bolts. But yeah they were halogen and now led.

Now im having a problem with my Engine its tapping when at idle but when i go above 3000 RPMs it goes away. Im super lost on this no codes are popping up either.

Yup just like that, i was on the highway today going to work never went over 80 mph and got off. While at the stop light i noticed in neutral the rpms dropped and i turned my radio down, then noticed the sound. So i hit the throttle to bring the rpms up and it got louder until about 3k rpms. A few hours go by, I go on break to see if its still making the noise and nothing i drove it around and in first at around 6k it started to knock again then i brought it to a stop and parked it. I went back in to work and after my shift was over i started it and at first it knocked then stopped. Im Sooo Lost

The interweb suggests a 6ohm 50watt resistor. Look up
"Blinker resistor"

Read @N1rve's post and his thread. He has personal experience. It's a rocker arm, I think.
