Border guards broke my back seat
So i went to the great land of the free yesterday to pickup my rims from my po box which is the first street after the american border. A bunch of robocop pricks ripped my car apart because i had an apple. The bottom of back seat isnt sitting in its seat properly. Its all bent and raised. Wont go back down. Does anyone know how the bottom rear seats snap into place?

Sucks, although I've never had a problem.

They did a full search on my vehicle to when we tried crossing the border with an apple in our picnic basket. I even had to hand over the keys. I made a remark the the apple was probably American, as are most apples sold in Ontario, depending on the season. They didn't get the irony and threatened with a $1000 fine. Luckily they didn't break anything. Welcome to the US, neighbour !

This shouldnt even matter, even it were. as cannabis is LEGAL in washington and bc. Yet they will still ban you from ever entering te united states if you admit to consuming marijuana once in your life. That is grade a unjust BULLshit if you ask me. Its LEGAL. Thats like banning someone for life because they have a pair of socks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

On a much lighter, unrelated note, I was returning to the US after spending a few enjoyable days in Kingston, ON a few weeks ago. My license plate makes a reference to the old Don Adams TV show, "Get Smart," ... he played "Agent 86." Get it.. 86? .. never mind..
In any case, the US border guard must have found it amusing; when we pulled up, he was singing the theme from the TV series! And smiling.. . those guys never smile! Told me he loved the show and the car, then asked where I lived, why I had been in Kingston, and told me to have a great day.. I was there MAYBE 10 seconds. Best experience ever. Yes, I've had awful experiences at the border, both sides, over the years, but most have been just fine. This was the best. |
