Bump

Dennett_ 11-03-2016 05:44 PM

Has the engine or the car had any problems?

walletsr 11-05-2016 09:43 AM

The first engine blew 9 months ago when I had a bad batch of fuel and clogged cat. I had another engine installed within a week and has been going strong since then for over 6k miles

You blew the engine from a bad batch of fuel? Is that something people need to worry about when running e85? (about to switch my car to e85 for the first time) Or was it a combination of things going wrong that caused it? How did your cat get clogged? I am thinking of scing my car but thought maybe it would be cheaper to buy one that already is.
