The files are IN the computer... :hitcomputer:

Waiting to see if they will get CARB cert. no point in getting a new intake if I have to take it out for smog later on.

You have 5 years before you even have to worry about it...

I know, but I've had bad experiences before without the CARB plate/number on there.

Really? You've been sent to a smog referee?! I ran a fairly loud turboback exhaust on my Eclipse for years and never had a problem (even when I was pulled over). I also had an intake, bigger fmic, and a host of other stuff and was never made to pop my hood. Luck of the draw I guess...

Calidrifter 07-10-2012 06:00 PM

Yeah, I was in San Diego for an event and my old crew was pulled over coming back to LA. My car was the least modified but since I had the team sticker on my car I was pulled over too. They made us all pop our hoods. Mind you, I probably got off with the smallest fine, but had to go and buy a new intake with a CARB sticker on it just added to the total.

I think this new intake looks great, and it's very nice that they utilize the original air inlet.
