Most of those are dealer installed. It is just the list of options from the build page.

Better! Not just a typed list of options. Maybe a Canadian thing where those are dealer installed. I am that much closer to abandoning my thesis. Not quite there yet though.

Im hopping to get my BRZ in December even though SOA said February is the expected delivery.

Being you are in NY, you car will actually come through SDC (Subaru Distributor Corp.) and not through SOA.
PP cars and Series yellow cars have not even made it to factory floor yet, so highly unlikely anyone will see one of these cars before January at the earliest. I am guessing February from information I have been able to gather from SDC, dealer etc.

February is fine for me since mine will not be a daily driver and will only be driven in the summer. I have other vehicles for the snowy winters.

Yeah mine is regular CWP 6M/T LIMITED... that's why i was like why so long.

i do have another car .. but want to get into the BRZ already lol.. my first BRZ.. 2nd Subaru lol

with a VON you can call 1800subaru3 to check on status.

I got a great deal, and placed an order for a 2017 BRZ Limited Manual with Performance Package! Delivery date, according to the dealer, is December!

Strange, I ordered my 2017 Limited 6MT without PP nearly 2 months ago and also still have a last week of December delivery date.

Perhaps our cars are being built at the same time. I'll keep the thread updated when I get more details of my delivery date.

if i knew i was getting my car so late i would have gotten it with PP :(

I placed an order for my 17 BRZ Limited 6MT with PP on 10/26/16 and got an email saying the estimated delivery date is the last week of February :(

Sorry to hear guys! Hopefully my dealer isn't lying. I'd hate to be told December if it actually is February, but he seemed pretty confident in a December delivery date.

My dealer said that someone placed an order a couple weeks before me with a delivery date of mid January but didn't specify if had PP or not so I wasn't too shocked to see a Feb date for me

What's the delivery date range like for non-PP's?

Don't know if it's specific to non-PP's. Me and another member who ordered PP's from the same dealer are told our delivery date is in December. Seems like some other members, pp and non-pp, are hearing January/February for delivery dates.

Depending on area, non PP cars are in stock at some dealers. Just search the dealer inventories in your area and you will probable find one.

The PP cars are the ones on order right now as they have not started making the PP cars yet.

Yeah I was just wondering because at one dealer I went to last week they were out of stock for at least the next month or two because of reservations for non-PP arrivals.

Called SOA customer service to get an update on my order (wrb w/pp) . Still shows a December delivery. Said to call back in two weeks because there might be a VIN assigned by then.

When did you place your order roughly? Im curious on how long it takes to get a VIN assigned

Placed my order on 9/24.

I ordered my 2017 MT Sport-tech (aka Limited in the US) on Sept 1 and it was ready for me to pickup Sept 30. It took about 5 days (although only 2 business days) to get notified that it was on the boat from Japan. Hope that helps, but I do live in Canada so idk if that makes a big difference.

The Canadian models came in before US ones so I think it did make a difference. I ordered my Limited MT non PP two days after you on Sept 3rd and still have a last week of December delivery estimate.

You're right! It seems like you missed the first shipment of the BRZ:( I got one of the last one off the ship for Sept 22nd. I think I ordered mid Aug. and you're right the next batch is coming in around December. Sorry :(!

Dealer got back to me today on the PP models here in south florida.

My dealer has no idea when my PP car gonna arrive. They thought it gonna be here in late Dec but yesterday they call me that there is still no update on my order. They told me they will keep checking it and give me update once it is shipping. I ordered it early Oct. Hopefully can get here around Feb.

My Early PP order that was slated to arrive this month just got pushed back to December.

Called SOA on Monday...still no VIN assigned but still showing a December delivery for my wrb w/PP.

My son's 9/23 order still shows a Jan. 2017 delivery with a VON. No VIN and according to the dealer we won't see one till about a month or so away from delivery. Then they'll be told when it hits port then you are week or so away.

Hate to say I told you so but...


You guys have to stop believing everything a sales guy will tell you. Their whole job is to build and maintain excitement for the purchase even if it stretch's the truth a bit.

The sales guy I spoke to earlier this yea said he heard nothing about the new Toyota 86 which came out recently and heard nothing about a Supra prototype.

Well, they are not car guys like us. The only thing they care is doing their job.

Well there is no reason he should follow the prototypes but not knowing about the changes in the 86 is not really excusable. No doubt they sent information packages to all the dealers (in fact one was posted here someplace) so that is just bad communication in that dealer.

Doing a poor job considering it said on their website that the new Toyota 86 is coming and he had no idea about it.

My dealership is somewhat on the incompetent side.

You are right. That should not happen. In all the dealership I have went to. There is only one guy know everything about new car and he is in the service area. I don't know what his boss is thinking.

January 2017 delivery is still possible. :)

The sales reps be like, "I'm just here to sell a car man. I see you have a 2015 FR-S. Are you interested in upgrading to this Toyota Camry Limited Edition V6?"

Exactly. I just leave my car at dealership for service. I required them to do a transmission fluid inspection and the rep said, 'how many miles you have? You don't have to change or check. I never do it on my car'. It took me 10 min to persuade her to add it on the list.

Probable in most regions based upon Subaru's official statements of "winter" production/shipping. Unless there are production delays and then who knows
