Nice, that's sweet news.

When you guys ordered, how official was your price agreement? My guy wrote out the agreed price on a printout with the order allocation number and von and signed it. But definitely wasn't a spreadsheet or official looking paperwork. As long as I have it in writing then they should honor it, right? This was the sales manager that did this.

That's basically what I got and had no issues.

i just walked through "build a car" on the subaru site with the sales rep, and they gave me a printed order sheet. msrp on that sheet was 29,660 (no frills w/ pp) and upon delivery was given about 1500 less than the quoted msrp, without asking, super easy process

in other words, no formal agreement was made upon ordering and worked out perfectly
and i swear i got email updates about every 1-2 weeks from the dealer, cannot recommend Sewell enough

Thanks! Definitely been a long wait, but worth it.

I will!

Haha. Ok I admit occasionally I felt a bit impatient there. But yes, finally!

Car looks good!

Dealership told me that Hill start assist was enabled by default from DPI (whatever that is). Found out he was lying less than 5 mins off the lot on a steep hill. Luckily there was nothing behind me but I did kill it because I brought the clutch in a bit too quick and stalled it out.

Just so I don't get people saying "Learn to drive without Hill assist" I have it enabled so that my wife is a bit more confident at an uphill stop. She is learning! Will try to teach her to use the Parking/E-brake if all else fails.

My sales guy said the same thing even tho I told him it had to be enabled. Ended up having issues on some small hills with stop signs driving it home :|
