My dealer has two Series Yellows. The color actually looks pretty nice in real life compared to pictures. My only gripe is they're selling it for like $43k or so before TTL lol.

For both of them?

I'm guessing. I only saw the price slip for the first one on the show floor.

They basically had a thousand or more dollars worth of dealer addons and then a "$9000" or so "market rate" increase or something worded that way.

Wow that seems crazy to me.

I think that when going brand new for this car it's better to do it as an "order". Because for me ordering my CWP with PP I was able to specify no dealer or port add ons and was able to get a completely final car price agreement/contract in advance. (other than TTL of course)

Otherwise you're at the mercy of the dealer and they can do whatever they want between order and pickup.

As a side note from my last comment, today I heard from my sales guy that my car will likely arrive sometime next week!

Nice, that's sweet news.

When you guys ordered, how official was your price agreement? My guy wrote out the agreed price on a printout with the order allocation number and von and signed it. But definitely wasn't a spreadsheet or official looking paperwork. As long as I have it in writing then they should honor it, right? This was the sales manager that did this.

Mine was an order form with the VON and MSRP. Under it they wrote the price and the sales person signed it. They also sent it to me via email.

Mine was just like a regular printed document but it had all the details you mentioned listed and signatures.

Today when I was at the dealer to deal with financing stuff the finance guy showed me the actual official sales sheet on special paper with the same numbers.

Dealer mark ups like that are hilarious to me. I would literally laugh out loud in their face if I walked in there and tried to sell me Yellow BRZ for that amount of money.
