Nope well below invoice.

I am going to bring you up here to negotiate my next new car purchase. To order a car at "well below invoice" is some nice work. Getting one that has sat on a lot for months for well below is an achievement but an ordered one is amazing.

Or work for em... In some way shape or form, corporate work and is part of a charity chapter they are part of too, have family at Subaru and have another Subaru in the drive way etc etc.

What I paid would make people reconsider a 17 instead of trying to find deals on left over 16s :)

I may have luckily bested the system this time around.

Anyways

Well I got my 13' and 1st '15 BRZ for invoice. I got my 2nd '15 BRZ for $500 under invoice, but '16s were coming out. However, I have a great relationship with my local dealership. Getting a new BRZ for $23,200.00 is happiness for me.

I thought i was doing good with my deals, but a few of you i guess are more stubborn than me.

I once worked with someone who had a family member working for Honda corporate. Their RSX Type S was like more than half price from MSRP.

Invoice means at cost right? What's the usual markup like 40%?

Hmm good question it think it depends on the company.

Breaking news:
Subaru drops BRZ line up due to no dealers making a profit! All BRZs are being sold at below invoice in an unprecedented automotive giveaway.

Now let's see how many people take that as real as well!

lol Definitely did not, a good bit under invoice.

Okay. I need to speak to another salesman then. The one who I didn't like told me that If I order it I have to order it at MSRP. Which is the reason I didn't order it.

Be careful of the "I got mine for $$$" trap. Different market regions and personal connections can skew the perception of what you will pay. At least it doesn't appear that dealerships are marking them up any. Yet.

Below MSRP seems pretty consistent.

On the very small sample size represented by this thread yes. In the whole of all the customers buying them this could be way off.
