For reference, what does the Zenki OEM wheel weigh?

I did some quick looking around and the info varies quite a bit, but it seems the old wheels are marginally heavier. Maybe 1 pound depending on who weighed it. OEM Toyota spec is 20.1lbs for the bare wheel, but that doesn't include the weight of the TPMS, so idk. Either way, it's close.

I think you're right, in that the original zenki is slightly heavier. And yes, for a 17x7 wheel they are heavy for sure. Not heavy for OEM, but quite heavy when comparing to any aftermarket options.

So just a bit of info:
South Florida already has a couple PP on lots unclaimed you can purchase.
Dealer websites have updated their next shipment.
For those in the market for yellows, they are also up on the sites and "in transit"

Dealer rep told me their next batch is early feb

Do you know if those cars arrived on schedule? Or earlier than expected?

Our local dealer Vic Bailey in Upstate SC has 1 Series Yellow inbound first week of Feb. Price is MSRP plus a $225 doc fee, tax and tag. Car is currently unspoken for. Ask for Steven.

I found a Silver Performance Package with Popular package 2 inbound to Williams Subaru in Charlotte NC. It was unspoken for and due 1/30. I was able to get the price down using USAA Truecar to $600 under invoice with a $349 doc fee. They normally charge $649 but he dropped the price of the car an additional $300. I decided to wait till spring and ordered a car from Vic Bailey. The sales manager at Williams is named Jim Gamble.

They arrived ahead of schedule. I drove past the dealership and saw them and I thought maybe mine had come in on the same truck so I called and asked. He said mine is expected either at the end of this week or early next week. Apparently the werent expecting the Yellows until the first week of February

They all arrive on schedule. It is Subaru's schedule though and they obviously are not good at sharing that schedule with the dealers and customers.

So your saying that...

"...a BRZ is never late...nor is it early.

It arrives precisely when it means too"

Just like wizards!!!

Good news, i had a status update and the dealership is definitely thinking mine could very well arrive before we anticipated. Based on previous experience that is.

So I am hopeful for a late late January delivery.

My salesman also stated it might arrive earlier than expected. Interesting.. :)

subaru of america told me that they cannot track any order from NY because we have a different distributor here. This is why they are more money here as well, because of that 'tarded buying group. I will never know when it is coming until it arrives and sits there and someone notices it.

For those of you who've gotten quotes or actually bought a '17, would 28,239 be a good price (including delivery)? This includes PP, cargo tray, and bumper applique. I'm getting super close to pulling the trigger, and sort of wondering whether it's worth holding out for more. Also looking at Costco pricing because why not (will report back with details).
