2017 BRZ Starlink questions
 

Hello everyone,

I Got my 2017 BRZ last week and obviously the head unit has been updated since I remember from my 13 BRZ. AT first it seemed like a great update but now I am confused. First off is there any update available for it at this time in order to get a different startup picture and get the mirrorlink working becuase I can not find anything on it that regards to the BRZ. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

No Updates as far as we know, I"m sure they'll be one in the future hopefully soon because we're still missing the map function IIRC being release Winter 2016

maybe it will come in with the PP cars who knows.

MirrorLink is unfortunately not compatible for vehicles made for North America.

I haven't seen any mod where the startup picture can be changed, mainly because there is no direct way to access storage/memory of the unit.

In other Subaurs (mostly ones with GPS), the picture can be changed because of the small SD Card where the map is loaded on but there is a way to do it via USB.

Well that sucks, so now we play the waiting game I guess. Man I was so hopeful for it.
