Work VS-KF's
Whats up guys? So last night I came across a set of wheels I couldn't pass up! They are Work VS-KF's as title states, 17x7 +35 5x100... and I believe from looking at the picture they're 3 piece non-welded! but i have to check them out when they get here in December. Bought them from a friend who imports wheels from Japan and I can't say how stoked I am to finally be building/refinishing a set of wheels for the first time. Mind you there are some small imperfections and I'm gonna have to take them to a wheel guy/shop to have them fixed (just minor rash, NO bends at all).
I'm hoping that the wheels are 3 piece non-welded so I can put a bit of a bigger lip on them and widen the wheels out a bit more to run a 17x9 with somewhat of the same offset, if not I'll be that guy to run spacers :/ So lets get to the parts of what I paid.... $415 for the full set of four. WHAT A STEAL! Once i get some picture from my phone to the computer I'll try and get them uploaded |

i would recommend that you clear coat the faces/lips if you go polished. this will greatly reduce your effort/time upkeep on the wheels. i had full polished vsxx before on my last car. It was not fun repolishing every few weeks and dealing with water spots
My current wheels have cleared coated lips and i just wipe them down and they shine like new |

Cant tell from the pic's they have posted, but the fact that they didn't choose to photograph the inner barrel at all or from the rear. Makes me think they are welded.
But no sweat, its really not too expensive to re-barrel if there welded (honestly same ballpark price to what you will pay someone to rebuild and 3 piece wheel) |
