Hey everyone,

MY name is Parker and I will be picking up my brand new FR-S in about 2 weeks. I got the touch screen audio and the rust proofing package (I am in Ottawa, Canada). The colour I picked was Raven Black. since I don't have it yet I'll post pics of my other ride - a highly modded 2007 Honda CBR600RR.

I am thinkling the first mod I will do is take off the Scion badges and swap them for either a OEM Toyota badge or a Lexus badge. What do you guys think? I would think that it would be easy and they should match up OK.


My FR-S will be replacing my 1997 Honda civic LOL

I'm not one for caring about badges, but honestly I'd much rather have Toyota on the car than Scion. I'm not in college anymore..

I kinda like the idea of confusing people as to what the car is. I am thinking now that I will put the piston/86 badge on the front and back in place of the scion badge.

I know what you mean. Black is the worst colour to hide dust. I actually wanted the Asphalt colour, but didn't want to wait 3 months for delivery. there was a Raven 2 weeks away so I opted for that. I's rather spend months cleaning the car rather than months waiting for it LOL

the black on my bike shows everything too.

Hey Zach - I assume you're cleaning your car yourself. I have a Raven also and was wondering what products you're using.

Turtle Wax Ice products work great on my black bike!!!

Griots garage is just a couple hours north of me in Seattle so I pretty much use just their products. They have a new one step seal/wax I apply with griots orbital buffer. Then hand apply the carnuba wax they sell in the tin. My car looks literally like butter for a couple days till all the pollen sticks :happyanim:.

I will be in NY near queens the 18-22 If you want some help/advice, but I would pick up a good orbital and claybar asap.

To be honest I have actually considered this myself. Half the people that compliment doesn't even have a clue of what brands the car is suppose to be. Picture people going to Lexus dealers asking about it lol

I like your idea of the Lexus badge. Maybe do the Lexus badges and get a 'Supra' emblem for the trunk, that would confuse the hell out of people. They would think it's a new concept:lol:

What does the noise generator do exactly?

What does deleting the noise generator do?

What does the DRL resistor do? And lol

What does removing the DRL do?
