Normal with car on and engine off.

Well now Allowe I would strongly advise that you relax and enjoy your car without going on a hunt for something wrong with it. It will tell you without doubt if there is something wrong.

:slap: ...... you should have bought the other one!

Get over it ....... it's a used car ...... it feels worse about it's imperfections than you do.

As @Tcoat suggested ........ quit looking for stuff ....... :sigh:

BTW, have you looked under the front lip ....... it's a MESS ..... :eyebulge:

Dude. I Live in London and work in Woodstock, Windsor and Detroit. If some chips make you cry the front of my car would probably send you right over the top.

It is a car, the only way to keep it pristine is to never drive it. Do you really want to never drive your car?

That's why I wrapped majority of my car with plastic wrap.

I have the hood done. At this point it is pretty much a tattered flag flapping in the wind.

I did the entire front end + the trunk top. But now I'm thinking of doing some paint correction on my doors and wrapping those too lolol

I spend 14 hours a week on a busy highway and the shit that I get hit with is of a size and velocity that the film doesn't do squat. By the time I am done with the car (3 more years) it will be able to be used in a Mad Max movie with no alterations.

I got film on the entire front, plus select other areas, and it's holding up after 4 years. It also has Opti-Coat on it and lives in a garage too, so that helps. But the paint totally sucks, I can only imagine what it would look like without film. Probably would've already rusted out! There's some good rock chip repair procedures out in the detailing forums (Autopia, etc), but if you need a recipe I'll dig mine out and post it.

But to the OP, these cars simply make a lot of noise in general. The engine, the interior, there's no escaping it. But like previous members have pointed out, you're better off just enjoying the car and you will know if something is off about it.
