q300 and front pipe
 

im still thinking what exhaust to get. im really leaning towards the q300 and catted front pipe. but im wonder if it will be loud enough. i haven't heard anything really in real life but the n1. so i wonder how that would compare to the n1 loudness

The Q300 is quite subtle so don't expect it to be very loud. A front pipe, catted at that, won't yield much noise either. If you plan on adding headers, though, I think you're going the right route.

Borla UEL, catless fp and Q300 is still quieter than my buddies frs with a Borla UEL and N1 cat back.

Do you know with the headers and q300 if its louder then the n1 by itself? Did you get a tune with your uel header. I'm wonder if I did get the uel headera I know I'm not gonna be a able to get a tune for awhile. Is it safe to ride with a tune with headers?

I'm not sure if its louder than the N1 with the stock header, but I am willing to bet that its close. Plus, the Q300 has zero drone.

I've been using Shiv's OTS tune with my Borla UEL header for about 6000km with no problems. You can run with out a tune, but you'll get a CEL because most headers on the market are catless.
